Young Moros Marsh Peace Rally
Published by Jun | Filed under Bangsamoro
Last January 6 at around 8 o’clock in the morning, hundreds, if not thousands of Young Moros, from different groups and organizations of various schools and colleges in the City of Marawi and Lanao del Sur, gathered and Marshed in Quezon Avenue of the city for the MARSH PEACE RALLY urging the National Government to continue Peace Negotiations with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front by Respecting and Honoring the Initialed MOAD-AD. They joined also the international community’s condemnation of the attacks by Israel on the Gaza Strip of Palestine that kills hundreds of civilians and wounded thousands mostly children and women. The crowds chanting “RESPECT AND HONOR THE INITIALED MOA-AD”, “STOP BOMBING GAZA”!

Aleem Ilias Macarandas led the prayer before the Marsh. Omarsharief Pangandaman of Tarompong Radio Forum (596) and a Human Rightist was in the affair.

It was just few days ago nor weeks that i upgraded this blog to Wordpress 2.5.1 and now more updates from Wordpress. I was like forced to upgrade to version 2.6 and see what changes nor new features.

Published by Jun | Filed under Daily Dose
This blog is now WordPress version 2.5.1.
I’m slowly reviving back my blogs and updating my other websites/blogs. I don’t really know what to write and share as of this moment. Maintaining many blogs is painful.
Aside from upgrading wordpress i also upgrade some peripherals of my Rig. Heres the list:
- Razer Lachesis (mice)
- Razer Lycosa (keyboard)
- Razer ExactMat + ExactRest (mouse pad + rest)
Maybe upgrading will help me revive my urge and focus to blog again? lols.
Native Deen: Intentions
Published by Jun | Filed under Islam, Music Video
I’ll try again to be back blogging (again), i’ll start with sharing a music video where somehow this video i can relate and shares whats been happening with me. This past years…asking questions, am i wasting time?of course a big Yes!. I’m almost 26 and still in college and dependent with my parents. What really matters? I should always make my intentions, for my Lord, Allah completely.
When I am looking deep deep down inside, do I have the right niyyah (intention)?
Inshallah, It doesn’t matter if the people despise me cause with Allah I can never be lonely.
Native Deen’s music video “Intentions” was filmed in Turkey and LA, from their album Deen You Know. Visit www.nativedeen.com for more info. Native Deen is a percussion only band and does not use wind or string instruments. Read the rest of this entry »

Fake Heroes – All the President’s Men
Published by Jun | Filed under Daily Dose
Just received an email from Sir Ryan Maboloc who is study leave, he is my former teacher and Chairperson of Philosophy Division of Ateneo de Davao University.
Who are the real heroes? Sir Ryan believes that Parents are heroes since they sacrifices alot for their children and Teachers who receive meager salaries are real heroes. On another hand, Councilor Peter T. Laviña delivered a privilege speech at the City Council that OFWs remain as our “heroes”. Sir Peter said in his blog:
I described Joey de Venecia and Jun Lozada as fake heroes and called on the nation to focus on more important issues other than the telenovela that is the NBN-ZTE scandal.
I believe and agree with them, what really sucks is when the media and other people -usually the opposition, labeling the likes of Jun Lozada and Joey de Venecia a “Hero” where before he is part of the ZTE scandal. Maybe he didn’t get enough part of the bribe shares he sings different tunes and turn against to his bosses. I really do appreciate the’re coming out to speak the truth but putting them on the list of “Heroes” of this country is i think not quite prudent. The real heroes are our Teachers who continues to sacrifice to teach despites low salaries and lack of support and needed funding from the Government to improve our Educational System – which is now commercialized. The other real heroes are the OFW’s who keeps sending remittances and balikbayan box back here in the Philippines that keeps our Philippine economy floating. Read the rest of this entry »
Keen Lee tulibu dibu douchoo – Valentina Hasan
Published by Jun | Filed under Comedy
The famous “Ken Lee” song performed by Valentina Hasan in Bulgarian Idol (WITH ENGLISH TRANSLATION). It’s really funny and hilarious! Maria Carey song “Can’t Live” was massacred. hehe.
She sings the song again but its now more improved. Her English has definitely improved.
This video saved me from killing myself. A good laugh. hehe. LOL!
Seeking Knowledge
Published by Jun | Filed under Daily Dose
I’ve been a stubborn son ever since and trying hard to be smart. I’ve been naughty and rebellious that puts me to trouble and in the end dragging my parents and love ones to the mess. Thus, every time I’m in serious dilemma i just wish i was never been born in this simple and yet complicated culture and diverse world. Why? I never learn a lesson and two. I’m given advised to do something about it to fix my mess but instead solving it, i make it more worst.
I’m trying to understand this life and my being a human person – to be better. Seeking knowledge was been and will be my passion until i reach my grave. It’s not the traditional seeking for knowledge like getting to school and setting your ass in the chair for hours like dumb in front your teacher. I’m just lazy staring the black/white board, i rather sleep in my chair then walk in the street after the class.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“Whoever takes a path seeking therein knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. And Verily the Angels lower their wings to the student of knowledge due to their being pleased to what they do. Verily everything in the heavens and earth even the fish in the water ask that the scholar be forgiven (for their sins). The superiority of the scholar over the worshiper is like that of the moon over the rest of the stars. Verily the scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets. Surely the Prophets do not leave behind to be inherited dinaar nor dirham (money). Verily they only leave behind knowledge to be inherited, so whoever takes it has taken hold of a great prosperity.” [Abu Dawud and At Tirmidhee.]
Maybe because of my laziness is the reason that makes my journey so hard. Or i’m just making my destiny hard for myself? I’ve been searching for knowledge to answer many questions but yet instead of getting answer i have more questions popping up nor adding more questions to the lists. Scholars or teachers this days have different opinions and facts. Who’s the one telling the truth?
I will be forever a student and wandering at end of my lessons asking – will this lead me to paradise? will this paradise is the true happiness that every man searching for? I’ll be traveling all over the world if given a chance, maybe my answers is on the other side of my world or just in my mind trying to fool myself. I’m crazy.
