    salaam! i’m one of the organizers of the ACLE–sayang we didn’t get to record Atty. Sadain’s lecture on video. He discussed the relevant provisions in the Muslim Code as to marriage and polygamy. The practice of polygamy (at least in the Phils) is highly restricted under the Code. You need authorization from the Shari’ah court, which would have to hear the side of the first wife.
