Mam Bebs Pastries
Published by Jun | Filed under Foods
The Usual Suspect member – Andrew, bring us some pastries from her moms bakeshop – “Mam Bebs Bakeshop” (formerly known as La Suerte Bakeshop) – sometimes few weeks backs during in one of our get together and meeting organizing for 1st Mindanao Bloggers Summit. This post was overdue. Sorry for the delay.

After the meeting Andrew give each of us a box of pastries! the wrapping and presentation was awesome. I really like the box that until now i’m keeping it – maybe i will use this for keeping some CDs/DVDs or maybe reuse it to box some gifts. hehe!

Inside the box were the potato rolls, apple pie and banana cake.

Potato Rolls is my favorite here because of its softness and “melt-in-your-mouth” texture. Though its so small that it fits in my mouth in one swallow *evil grin*. I want to taste the bigger one! and stuff it all in my mouth and let it melts! I really didn’t stop eating until all potato rolls are gone in a minute – no kidding! its really yummy and sweet!. They are sold by 100 pcs for P500, or 50 larger pcs for the same price.
Apple Pie is one of tasty and yummy pie i had. At first i really dont know if its an apple pie (i thought its a cinnamon) but latter Andrew updates us whats inside the box and their name. The creamy filling and its sweetness complements its flavor. I like this one but it’s at P400 per pie – i can’t afford it. haha!
Last but not the least, the Banana Bar is the most delicious Banana Cake i had. This one has really that softness texture and right amount of sweet blended with the banana flavor. You can buy this at P120 per piece.
Is it possible the next MBS meeting will be there at Mam Bebs Bakeshops? I never been there…. maybe you can sponsors another Mam Bebs Pastries Food Fest. hehehe! or 50% discount at least? I want to try those Rhum Cake. I wonder how it taste. how about Beer Cake? haha!
I really have a sweet time that night. Actually i want more. Maybe someday i will drop by there.
Mam Bebs Bakeshop & Refreshment Parlor. Located at the ground floor of CVA building on C.M. Recto Street. For your orders, call 227-8131 (look for Lani, Rose or Lilia).
Thank you very much!
