Move on a new server and Wordpress 2.3.1 upgrade

If you check this blog few hours ago and wondering why theres error, it’s all because I just move this personal blog and my tech blog to a new server or my own reseller hosting account. During the start of this blog Bob of Mindanao.com a good friend of mine hosted several blogs of mine for free. It’s been 3months and 11days Bob hosted my blog. Thank you very much Bob!

My personal blog started just last July 31, 2007 barely few months ago and quite happy now since my Google Pagerank is 4 and 51 backlinks in just 3months excluding links from Inquirer.net, GMANews.TV and other non-blog sites.

Another 50+ backlinks in the coming 3months? *evil grin* and more Page Rank juice. :)

Wordpress Upgrade

My wordpress version was way back old and this past months i was contemplating to upgrade. Since i’m moving on a new server i also take time to upgrade wordpress. I’ll be double checking also for the plugins if theres need or if it break some parts of my site. I did break something but i’ll be fixing this in the coming hours before i leave Iligan City going back to Davao City.

I have some problem/errors in wp-admin pages when publishing new posts like “wp_post2cat’ doesn’t exist” but it resolve now when upgrading some of the plugins. When i check one-by-one the plugin – Google Sitemap seems to be the culprit. After upgrading Google Sitemap from 2.7.1 to 3.0.1 the errors is now gone.
