His Holiness

At Mindanao1081 Yahoogroups i received this forwarded email from Dr. Jose V. Abueva . I wonder if this really true or just being made for Fun.

The Pope was finishing his sermon. He ended it with the Latin phrase, “Tuti Homini” – Blessed be Mankind.

A women’s rights group approached the Pope the next day. They noticed that the pope blessed all Mankind, but not Womankind. The next day, after his sermon, the Pope concluded by saying, “Tuti Homini, et Tuti Femini” … Blessed be Mankind and Womankind.

The next day, a gay-rights group approached the Pope. They said that they noticed that he blessed mankind and womankind, and asked if he could also bless gay people. The Pope said, “Sure”.

The next day, the Pope concluded his sermon with, …”Tuti Homini, et Tuti Femini, et Tuti Fruiti.

After reading this it give me a good laugh but after re-reading and reflecting, this world has many nor different paradigm and many rights group and movement evolving. In this Masculine world or Patriarchal society dictates mostly how we run things in order. In Feminist Linguist they can argue to a radical change how it approach language like changing the term of history – HIStory to HERstory. So in feminist may ask: “What’s the herstory of the Philippines?”.

Best towards their wives

The sayings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him)

“The most perfect believer in the matter of faith is one who has excellent behaviour; and the best among you are those who behave best towards their wives.”

The above quotation was said by Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 278 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah.

So muslim men who mistreat their wives is not a perfect believer or worst if he abused and exploit her wives is not a practicing muslim.

Moroism and Morology

moroism.jpgThis is the first time i encounter this word – Moroism. Maybe this refers to a Moro + Heroism? I’m not a hero or something but i can’t deny my identity as being a Moro. Theres still many Filipinos who doesn’t know about Moro or Bangsamoro and if this Moro people do exist in Mindanao. This is one the reason why i blog and create Moro-related websites so to inform that we exists.
